Our team's desire is to walk alongside you after the diagnosis of one of the many types of dementia.  We offer a monthly support group and resources to help you during this challenging journey.

Dementia is not a specific disease but is rather a general term for the impaired ability to remember, think, or make decisions that interferes with doing everyday activities. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common type of dementia. Though dementia mostly affects older adults, it is not a part of normal aging.  www.cdc.gov/aging/dementia/​

Our SUPPORT GROUP meets the first Thursday of every month from noon to 1:00 pm at the Cole Community Center in Canyon located at 301 16th Street (Canyon, TX).  Our speakers are local professionals who provide encouragement and education on a specific topic related to dementia and the needs of caregivers.  A light lunch is provided.​

Those with dementia may have a brain that works much differently than ours.  But if we link our hands together, we can overcome anything. ~ Teepa Snow
